First XI win by 7 wickets - Lee Allen 6 for 20 (including a hatrick) - Sean Dearn 23*
Last game of the season and the skipper Rich Homer won the toss and invited Swindon to bat first. Going into the game only three points were required to secure the title. The usual pair of Nico Van Zyl and Eren Ranu started brilliantly removing the top order with 4 wickets between them. David Stibbon showed the only resistence to what was a brilliant bowling performance from the home team. But it was Lee Allen who took the headlines taking 6 wickets for just 20 runs in 4.3 overs. This included a hatrick and quite fitting that the 3rd wicket to fall was the 3rd point to secure the league title.

The Vale required just 59 runs to win the match and with couple of hickups along the way Aaron Nauria hit the winning runs in just the 8th over with Sean Dearn finishing 23 not out.
